story . . .

If you would notice, I filmed the clips in the videos alone among my groupmates but I was actually with my friends from another class since they were assigned the same town! To be honest, I was a little shy and embarrassed to film that's why the clips aren't so refined, if you could say that. And some others had to be retaken which meant I had to rush... But in the end, the outcome was still pretty nice!

During the day of filming, we were exhausted. We mostly only walked, and the hot temperature didn't help either. We started filming in my old school which is Tomas Pinpin Memorial Elementary School, and I honestly felt a bit nostalgic since I hadn't stepped foot in that place for a long time. After filming there, we decided to go to the Plaza to wait for a few other who hadn't arrived yet. And just from that walk we were already trying to catch our breaths. Then and there I decided to buy myself some buko juice since there were already vendors opened. Once the people we were waiting for arrived, we continued our journey and went to the new Hoffman building. It was also my old school during kindergarten days and I believe some of my teacher during those times were still teaching there currently, I just unfortunately don't remember them too well now. After my friends finished filming there, we went to another school which was Bonifacio Camacho National Highschool. Then after some bits of complications, we headed to the new municipality building by tricycle. We filmed and rested there for a while as the heat was finally getting to us. Finally regaining energy, we took another tricycle to a cafe place called Saverde. We ate lunch there and stayed a bit longer so that we could actually rest. And since the place was airconditioned, we really enjoyed the time spent inside the building.By the time we got out, it was probably around 1pm already so we decided to go back to the church to film some more. And something eventful that I could never forget while walking back was us seeing a car driving backwards in the main road... I still wonder why on Earth they were driving backwards, on the main road no less. But after we filmed in the church of Abucay, I suggested to go to a place called Bacood. It was where land met the sea. If I have to look back on it, we should've gone at a later time because the scorching sun was unrelenting. But after the treacherous walk back, we went to my house to finally take a much needed rest. We stayed for a long one hour there just so we could regain our energy and by the time we went out again to film, it was already 4pm so a lot of students were dismissed from school. Which meant the plaza was finally bustling! We only stayed there for a little while because me and my friends decided that we wanted to go to the perya or fair!As there were not really any notable events, it was quite quiet... Only really me and my friends there to enjoy some fun activities. But really, I was a little too scared to ride any of the attractions. At first, only one of my friend rode the ferris wheel, and just by seeing how it went, I was scared because of how fast and seemingly unstable it was. So when my friend was still trying so bad to convince us, we just for now decided to play those little vendor games. I enjoyed playing the darts for some reason even though the price was unreasonably high.As the night went on, finally, finally, my friend convinced me and another one to ride something called the "Catterpillar". I didn't know how fast it was going to actually go so when it begun I was already starting to feel anxious. But honestly, it was fun! Except for the fact that there were so many flying termites in the way. And then since I already tried that attraction, we finally decided to also ride the ferris wheel. To say the least, I was scared and I felt like my soul was ascending to heaven already. It was so fast! And you could feel how the cart swayed left and right. It was terrifying. When I finally got back to ground, my legs felt like jelly, but at least I got to experience it I guess? I have to admit that it was still fun despite me being so, so scared. And that was when the day ended came to an end. As soon as I laid on the bed, I fell right to sleep because there was still school during that time.

personal experience !

( on network safety & etiquette )

I’ve been on the Internet since I can remember. Although at a young age I was fairly careless and had not so much of a problem, I feel I could’ve been a little more cautious and careful back then. But hey, there wasn’t anything bad that happened back then so it’s quite alright. Besides, my parents were usually the ones managing my social media when I was a child so I wasn’t entirely careless. As I’ve grown, I grew to become just a bit more aware and cautious of what I say, post, share, and do online. I’m fairly active in social media platforms and interact with people who are from other countries, and as much as possible, I try to keep a lot of personal information to myself and only share those that are appropriate for strangers to know. I’ve not had any troubles ever since and I wish to keep the streak for the future to come.

online platforms !

Social Media

Social Media is one, if not the most, popular of the online platforms. It’s a really good platform to share your creations, information, ideas, and even interests. Whenever you are using this platform, there is an algorithm to which makes the contents shown for is to your liking with what the system has gathered.

Cloud Computing

Cloud Computing is something I use very often. It’s really helpful for storing and managing videos, pictures, and in general, data. There’s a bunch of platforms on the internet which have cloud computing but Google Drive may be the best option.

Mapping

Mapping is very useful. Most definitely to people who like to travel or are tourists in new places. It’s important to know where you are in order to not get lost and mapping will be there to help you.

digital divide ?

Digital Divide is the gap between people who can access the Internet and those who cannot. Not everyone in our country, much less for the whole world, has access to reliable Internet. Us who can acess it could even be considered a gift. With regards to education, this can really impact those who cannot access the Internet. In the Internet, as long as you can access it, one can learn many things already. If there is a curious question, you’re more likely than not to get your designated answer. However, for kids or anyone who have no access to such, have a hard time seeking the answer they need.

ict as platform for change ?

ICT as platform for change. Nowadays, this has become very useful. Back then, when social media and whatnots weren’t existing or popular yet, it was hard to convery informations quickly and efficiently. But there was still no doubt plans and actions during those time that had helped the people who were seeking for help.Recently though, apps like X (or Twitter) and Facebook are platforms that can easily spread news and informations that goes on around the world. With this, if someone is in need of help, one can easily get help by people who are willing to aid them. This applies to petitions, too.
